níl aon árach agam air, I cannot help it.
Sonraí (eolas breise):
This in Erris is the usual word, where Munster uses níl aon leigheas agam air, and Ulster níl (aon) neart agam air. Stockman makes strange with the word in The Irish of Achill and writes níl aithreach (?) air, it can't be helped. Mc Cionnaith gives its. v. help. Cf. Scot Gaelic àrach, 'strength, power, authority'.
